File Attachment Instructions

The File Attachment Instructions help users to attach screen prints to their call tickets.

Use the "Print Screen" button on your keyboard to capture a picture of the problem you're having.

Right-click the mouse in Microsoft Word or WordPad and choose 'Paste' to paste the image or hold down the "Ctrl" and "V" keys at the same time to paste the screen image into the Text Editor. You may also use image editing software to capture the image.

If using Word, save the document (ex: screen1.doc). If using an image editor, save the image as a JPEG (.jpg) or Bitmap (.bmp).

Copy this file to the designated directory located on your company's web server. Ask your web administrator if you need help and/or permission.

Now you may add the link to your existing call ticket or new call ticket. In the field labeled "Attachment Link", fill in the web address where your file is stored.
